problem in DRV 10983 working

Sir,

I have a drv 10983 and riving a motor using msp430 launchpad. I m able to do i2c communication properly, and i m driving the motor with both i2c and pwm.

Then i put msp430g and drv10983 on single circuit and trying to run the motor.

the problem im facing is first whenever i power the circuit the controller sometimes dont respond(as if it hangs or dont start).

Secondly sometimes the if everything is going properly when i start the motor i doesnt run but after a mechanical rotation given by hand it start rotating , could you pls help me out in this.
