We are using DRV8307 Brushless DC Motor Controller in our design.
VM Supply is 13V, We are observing two occasions where nFAULT signal is getting asserted. Please let us know the reason for this behaviour? Also let me know in case any further clarifications required
Case 1):
nFAULT signal is asserted for a duration of 10uS during the power up stage(Just after the 13V VM supply is enabled to the IC). Refer below attached image for more details, Yellow line shows the VM supply and the other wave shows the nFAULT line.
Case 2):
nFAULT signal is asserted for a duration of 160uS, when the Enable pin is asserted. Refer the attached image nFAULT_Enable for more detals, Enbale signal, Charge pump Voltage(VCP) and nFAULT signals are marked. Here we can observe, the nFAULT gets asserted 400uS after the enable pin goes high and is de asserted once the VCP reaches 20V.
