I am working with the DRV8718S-Q1 motor driver and would like guidance on monitoring motor current via the integrated current sense amplifier. Specifically, I have the following queries:
How can I sense normal operating current and detect stall current using this IC?
Which SPI registers should be read or written to obtain the current sense ADC values?
What is the expected ADC value range for normal motor operation and stall conditions?
How can I calibrate or interpret the ADC values to reliably detect a stall condition?
Any example SPI commands, register addresses, or reference values for normal vs. stall current would be extremely helpful.
