DRV8332: DKDR Replacement

I use DRV8332DKDR in a design. As mentioned in related forums, there is not a drop in replacement.

I've determined that we need to re layout the PCBA to use a different part. However, I cannot find a different part with similar specifications at all. DRV8332DKDR has integrated FETs and is rated for 8 A outputs and 13 A peak output current. All that I can find now are motor drivers with 6A outputs. Is my understanding correct that the newer parts have less output current capability, or am I missing something?
