DRV3901-Q1: how was CVREG value decided?

Hi experts,

I would like you to teach me how TI decide recommended CVREG value.

I think it depends on deployment conditions(current and timespan). is my understanding right?

If so, what conditions did TI assume to determine the recommended CVREG? 

if there is the calculation way to decide CVREG, I would like you to share it.
