DRV8434: Overvoltage protection on OUT pins

Motor Driver team,

Our customer is designing with the DRV8434, and is concerned about spikes in voltage due to the inductance of the motor.  Do we have any reference designs that show a recommended protection circuit on the OUT pins to avoid overvoltage?

I didn't see anything on the EVM.
