Hi,
I am working on a BLDC controller board for an eBike that needs to function in both generator and motor modes:
In motor mode, it will be controlled by a microcontroller using a FOC algorithm and powered by a 10S battery. The maximum current required is approximately 25A, with a nominal current of 15A.
In generator mode (when the main battery of the system is off), I aim to generate power to supply my board with the generated voltage on the H-bridge as soon as possible, when the motor is running at low RPMs. I also need to drive the low-side MOSFETs to ground to apply an electrical brake to the motor.
For this specific application, I am searching for a MOSFET driver that can operate with a low VCC input voltage to control the low-side MOSFETs. Do you have any products in TI's portfolio that would be suitable for this application?
Thank you. Best regards,
Victor
