Hello expert,
1. voltage drop question:
According to datasheet, max Rds(on) is 0.85R, even when output 1A,the voltage drop Voltage drop from VM to A/Bout will be less than 0.85V.
Below is my test:When VM=9V, the Aout is 8.3V, it seems OK.
But when VM=19V, Aout is only about 16V. The voltage drop(3v) seems too high? How to improve the voltage drop?
About the motor, L=12mH max, R=6.9Ohm+-10%
2. Can the device detect A/Bout short circuit to
2.1 Vbat,
2.2 GND
2.3 each other(such as A1 to B1)
