DRV8701: Termination of unused nFault and SNSOUT Pins

Hi,

I have no intention of monitoring the nFault and SNSOUT pins.

The datasheet says "VCC supply voltage pullup is required for open-drain outputs nFAULT and SNSOUT". Is this just a hint if we are monitoring them or is it required for the chip to operate correctly.

I note that they are open drain outputs, am I free to connect them to GND or leave them floating?
