MCF8316A: about MCF8316A MPET

Hi ,

   About MCF8316A MPET , I have some questions:

  1. When I set MPET_CMD bit to 1, How long can the motor complete the MPET function?（with IPD and without IPD）

  2.When the MPET measurement is completed, what is the state of the motor, stop rotating or maintain the speed at which the MPET ended?

 3.Can the MPET measurement process be stopped midway? If it can, how to do it?

  4. the max value of MAX_SPEED is 0x3fff, convert the speed is 0x3ffff/6 = 2739 Hz.

    Does this value represent the motor speed? If I only use PWM duty cycle input, how does the duty cycle relate to this value?Can this value be set to 0?
