DRV8806: Driver selection for 28BYJ-48 stepper motor

Need to find a driver for 28BYJ-48 stepper motor, which driver will be most suitable. I need the driver with stall detection feature but most driver ICs that I am finding uses bipolar motors but 28BYJ-48 is a unipolar motor. I dont want convert the motor from unipolar to bipolar as this involves cutting tracks of the PCB from inside the motor assembly.
