DRV8706S-Q1EVM: Unable to connect GUI to Eval Board

I have the DRV8706S-Q1EVM Eval-Module. I tried to connect it to the GUI but it is not working. It seems that the device is connected correct --> visible in the Serial Port Configuration (GUI: Com3(FTDI) 115200). Board is powered with 12V and status LED is flashing. GUI is also automatically trying to connect after USB plug in --> Result: Hardware not connected.

Eval Board was ordered direct from TI (Seal date 03/10/23). GUI version is the latest version available on TI website. I have also tried it on different laptops (Win11 and Win10).

Does anyone have an idea?
