DRV8908-Q1: Capacitor selection and parallel mode

Hello Team,

I have two questions about the DRV8908-Q1 and all the DRV89xx family.

1. According to the datasheet, VM and VM1 requires a capacitor larger than 10uF, while we found it can works as well when applying 4.7uF. Do we have any calculation or selection guide on this cap?

2. If we would like to use DRV8908/8906 with parallel mode, do we have any guide or calculation spread sheet for us to understand this nonlinear driving? Is the peak current and power dissipation a simple add up?
