DRV8243-Q1: If multiple faults happened in sequence, will fault register only show the first fault type?

This question seems not answered in previous thread, would you pls help share your comments for it? Customer would like to understand if multiple faults happened in sequence, will fault register only show the first fault type?

Sequence as below:

OUT1 connect to ground, register FAULT_SUMMARY and STATUS1 are 0XE424, 0XE408, reporting OCP_H1 fault (expected), and nfault is set. 

At this time if customer change to other fault types, eg OUT2 short to VM, or OUT1 short with OUT2, the register data still keeps 0XE424 and 0xE408. Seems register are lock to the first fault type so the following fault type do not show up in the register, is it expected behavior or not?
