DRV8462EVM: STEP count fail

Hi support team.

My customer asked us regarding STEP count fail with GUI.

In the GUI, during step-by-step operation, the output from the MSP430 is different from the set number of steps.
The number of steps varies widely and can be different each time I click the start rotation button.
The captured STEP waveform and setting screen are summarized in the document.
Please refer to the attached file.

Is this a GUI bug? Or is it a FW bug in MSP430?
Is it possible to improve?
