I'd like confirmation about my design configuration.
I have a coil which has a max current of 1,33A.
I assume that the Ipeak may be limited to 0,9A and the Ihold is 150mA.
PWM frequency working is 5khz.
Tkeep is supposed to be 220ms.
I have set Rpeak = 270k, Rhold = 280k and Rsense = 0,25ohm.
To my understanding, the Vpeak (Voltage of internal reference to which the sense pin voltage is compared to for Ipeak ) is defined by :
Vpeak = 0,3V / Rsense -> 0,3V datasheet with Rpeak > 200kohm.
Vpeak = 0,3V / 0,25ohm = 1,2A
Is Vpeak correct ?
Does my configuration OK or may have forget somtehing ?
If the Ipeak values assumed is wrong, does I change Rsense to a lower value to allow the coil Imax current ?
(Rsense = Vpeak / Imax_coil) ?
