DRV8243-Q1: Diagnostics questions

Could you please help answer below questions? Thanks!

1. For below box marked in blue, nFault=L at normal mode and GND short condition, nFault=H at open fault condition and VM short condition. How to distinguish them? I don't see any register show OLP diagnostics status.

2. Below table only indicates the diagnostic status of active mode, right?
