DRV8245-Q1: Current feedback during HS recirculation

Hello Team,

I have a question regarding current monitor on DRV8245S in EN/PH mode full bridge.

I see the current sensing is implemented in both HS FETs, I was expecting to have a sensing in ON phase (HS1 ON & LS2 ON) and OFF phase (HS1 ON & LS2 OFF, with sensing to HS2 in recirculation)

Using the downloaded spice model I see a current sensed only in ON phase (e.g. HS1 ON and LS2 ON).

Is my understanding correct?
