DRV8714-Q1: motor drive protect

     My customer use DRV8714-Q1,and now has three  design  questions:

1)  Is it necessary to serial risistance between DRV8714-Q1 output  port and  MOS ? In order to protect DRV8714-Q1  while huge current fee back to outout port(GH1 GL2) in extreme environments

2) Is there any protect circuit while GH1 MOS AND GL2 MOS   is on state and  motor has short？and now current has flows to GND and curcuent sensor has not work 

3）Is there DRV8714-Q1  H -bridge demo can ref？
