Never used TI for stepper motor before. I plan to use DRV8711 in one of micro stepping modes. The part has 'optional' STEP input. Can you set the micro step mode on power up and than use STEP input to drive motor? OR you constantly need to issue step command for each step? Thanks. Zoran.
