With the supply chain issues, we have been buying what we can get in the market. we have been having field issues regarding with this driver and reading through the forum I ran across a discussion that sounds exactly what we are seeing.
It looks like one coil (Coil A) is completely lost in some erroneous state, while the other coil (coil B) is still working (e.g. no current drive through the winding A while winding B looks normal). We observe the motor oscillating and, shaking like one coil is disconnected.
The condition happens randomly. date codes of the chips returned from the field are

has there been any resolution to the issues described in the thread ? Can we confirm that it is a silicon issue on the parts we have ?
