DRV8871: Start-up current is too large

hi  team:

 my customer use DRV8871 and DRV8870 to evaluate the BDC ,but check with the DRV8871EVM board, we found this issue:

 1.The normal starting current waveform is as shown in the figure below, the maximum current is about 4A, and the duration is about 4us.

2.During abnormal startup, the chip detects that the overcurrent occurs when the H-bridge is turned on and off, resulting in a reverse current as below:

base on the above experiments, There is a large current when the motor starts, and the current exceeds the protection current of the DRV8771/DRV8870. 

 do we have some solutions or any recommend device for this case?
