DRV8251: Question about brake and coast

Can you explain the difference between "Coast"(fast current decay) and "Brake"(low-side slow decay)?

I think "Coast" seems to be free-run. am I correct?

What will real differ when I select "Coast" instead of "Break" to stop motor or to control speed of motor(PWM)?

- time to brake?

- others?
