DRV8316REVM: 3x PWM Mode setup is descripted in an ambiguous way

in ch 8.3.2.2 in the datasheet of DRV8316 rev.B you are describing the 3x PWM Mode and it's set up. The heading says " 3x PWM Mode (MODE = 10b or MODE Pin is Connected to AGND with RMODE)" but in figure 8-4 an resistor on MODE Pin is connected to AVDD.

Could please you clearify, which setting is correct? I know the "R" Version is configured in software, but in future design, we might want to have the possibility to use the non-spi version as an drop-in replacement.
