DRV2700: Using external Vcc for PVdd instead of Vbst of DRV2700

Hi,

Let me ask you a question in case of using "external Vcc" for PVdd instead of Vbst.

When we use external Vcc (Vcc ---> PVdd), it seems to be reccomended to disable "BST" circuit of DRV2700.

But in case if not disable, what will happen to damage for DRV2700? Or nothing will happen?
