Hello,
We are using 2 DRV8301 IC's to drive 3 motors in full bridge configuration.
First Gate Driver controls Motor1 and one half of motor 2 (One direction).
Second Gate Driver controls the second half of motor 2 (Second direction) and Motor 3.
We are trying to test overcurrent conditions and corresponding fault reporting. We have set the OCP mode to latch shutdown.
When purposefully induce the overcurrent condition in motor 1, we correctly get the fault reported by our application and it stays in that state until we clear the fault.
However, for the motor 2, when overcurrent is induced, the 'nFAULT' pin becomes low indicating fault, but automatically becomes high after around 800usec. Please see image below -

As per the mode set, it should get latched to the fault unless we clear the fault manually. (As observed in driver 1).
Can anybody provide any insights on what could be happening here?
Thanks,
Varun
