DRV8899-Q1EVM: current regulation, supply voltage

Dear Sir or Madam,

For a prototype we want to drive a Stepper Motor with your evaluation module DRV8899-Q1EVM in an automotive application.

Here are the characteristics of the motor:
operating voltage: 4.5-7.5V
operating current: 20-35 mA
Coil resistance: 214-240Ω

Is it possible to drive this motor with the Stepper Motor driver board DRV8899-Q1EVM?

Does the current regulation work in this range?

If we provide the module with less then 7.5V does the current stay below 35mA or can the voltage at the motor be higher than at the input of the module?
