Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP430F5529,
Hello,
I am using the BOOSTXL-DRV8323RS + MSP430F5529 LaunchPad Combo and I noticed something odd. I probed all the GLx pins while running a motor and I noticed that the GLA pin is swinging between 6V and - 7V during operation. What's odd is the other GLx pins are swinging normally between 14V and 0V... Since I have a second BOOSTXL-DRV8323RS I replaced it to see if it is a PCB issue but now I get the swinging between 6V and -7V on the GLB pin now:
CH1: IOUTA, CH2: GLA, CH3: GLC, CH4: GLB

I probed their GHx counterparts and here is what I get:
CH1: IOUTA, CH2: GHA, CH3: GHC, CH4: GHB

GHB is switching between 38.8V and -3.6V.
This is quite concerning because the pins that are affected should have an AMR of -0.3V.
I have also tried swapping proes and channels to see if this is an issue with one of the scope probes but that wasn't the case.
Best Regards,
Jerome Villapando
