Part Number: DRV8305
Hello,
I am looking to substitute the BLDC motor driver IC DRV8305NPHP with DRV83053PHP IC. They are essentially the same IC, the only notable difference is the pin 48 of the motor driver IC.
Device Options: • DRV8305N: Voltage reference • DRV83053: 3.3-V, 50-mA LDO • DRV83055: 5-V, 50-mA LDO
According to the datasheet pin 48 in DRV8305N is a reference voltage while DRV83053 is a 3.3V regulator. DRV83053 does not work on the product the way I expect because of the 3.3V LDO, However a sample of the same IC works when pin 48 is cut off. how can i make a schematic change to permanently ground this pin? or is there a better way to deal with this?
Thanks in Advance.
