DRV11873 series resistor (between motor phase pin and actual motor winding) impact on motor control

Team,

in order to reduce the inrush current at start-up, it's been added a series resistance between motor phase pin and actual motor winding terminal. Does it have any impact on the control of the motor?

With no resistance the measured error is 0.1% but with resistance it gets slightly worse to 0.9%.
