DRV8876: DVR8876 vs DRV8872 What are the diferences?

Hi.

I've been looking over both the DRV8872's and the DRV8876's datasheets and I can't figure out what major differences are there between them.

They both allow for current regulation and sensing, fault reporting, etc. The 76 has CPUV reporting...

I'm trying to decide between them for usage with a brushed DC motor.

Also, is there a driver that I am not seeing that has these features, allows for current limiting in the 1 to 2A range, but also a fault reporting system similar to the DRV8873's? I coudn't find one, so I just settled for the 72 or 76.
