Part Number: DRV8323
Hello, TI engineers,
Circuit power sequence, first the main control system power on, and then the motor drive circuit power on;
When we forget to add the necessary delay in the initialization of DRV8323S circuit, the 1x mode of DRV8323S configuration will fail and the chip will work in the default mode.
Then the problem arises: DRV8323 works in the default mode (6x), DIR (INHC) foot pull, when one of the Hall signals (INLA LINLB) is at a low level, a phase of the motor will always be on, the current is very large, the motor is burnt out;
DRV8323S works in the default mode, and the overcurrent protection threshold is about 30A.
Finally, my question is, is this kind of mistake a problem with my circuit design? How can it be avoided?
Thank you!
