Hello TI Motor gurus,
I'm debugging the DRV8711 in my prototype, and came across a "System wiring bug" that has existed in previous Motor designs.
What happens if you incorrectly wire a Stepper Motor to the HBridge (driven by the DRV8711) in the following Configuration?
DRV8711_HBridge StepperMotorCoil
A+ A+
A- A-
B+ B-
B- B+
I have done this empirically and it still seems to turn the motor, but I imagine this is applying incorrect torque to the motor since it is driving the Current at the incorrect times (180-degrees phase-shift on coil-B).
