Has anyone had any experience with using the DRV8305 or DRV3201 driver IC with a motor DC bus of around 150V DC?
I am considering running my inverter bridge at 150VDC and providing a separate lower voltage (say 28V DC) to power the driver IC. I was then considering using a simple resistor divider (with diode clamps) on the VDRAIN and SHx lines to enable the IC to still monitor VDS for protection purposes. Driver IC and inverter bridge share common ground.
Will this work? Do you foresee any problems with this approach?
