HI,please find below the feedback from my customer HD.
I have another question about the DRV592 device. The DRV592 is now implemented in a printed circuit assembly and is operated within the nominal conditions according to the data sheet. My question concerns about an error message of the DRV592 with the following conditions:
1) PIN 3: HI.Z is active as the signal at this pin is 0V
2) PIN 8: SHDN is active as the signal at this pin is 0V at the beginning of the measurement. In the following this active state is terminated as the signal rises to 3.3V.
3) PIN 4: FAULT1 remains high at the whole time. This is the expected behavior.
4) PIN 5: FAULT0 shows an error during the rising signal on PIN 8 (SHDN). This error is called ‘Overtemperature’ according to the data sheet. As the HI.Z is active no power should be at the output and there should be no reason for an ‘Overtemperature’ error.
The signals of this behavior are depicted in the figure of the appendix (DRV592.png).
My question about this behavior: Do you know about this fault error message or is there an implementation error on my side?
Best regards,
Kamal
