Part Number:BOOST-DRV8711
Hello All,
i'm using DRV8711 Booster with NEMA 17 Stepper Motor , i 've read the data sheet and configured the DRV8711 Booster as follows
CTRL Reg (0x0C05)
TORQUE Reg ( 0x131f)
OFF Reg (0x20f0)
Blank reg (0x31F0)
Decay reg (0x4110)
Stall (0x5340)
Drive reg (0x600f)
The Thing is when i send a step to the motor ( whether by sending a rising to STEP pin , or by changing CTRL reg ), the Stepper makes a noise like it is taking a step but it is not moving " stuck in the same position"
when i read the Status register 0x020 value is returned which indicates Channel A over Current shutdown
As indicated at the reg values above i'm using gain 5 with torque 31 , my Stepper features are :
- Step Angle (degrees) : 1.8
- 2-Phase
- Voltage: 12V
- Rated Current: 1.3A/Phase
- 5mm Diameter Drive Shaft
- Holding Torque: 4.2 Kg.cm
- NEMA 17 form factor
- Wire Leads: 4 Wires
i'm using a 12v - 2A adapter as Vm.
i'm just looking forward to hearing from you.
Hope You guys can help.
