Part Number:BOOSTXL-DRV8305EVM
Hello,
My question is about the position of current sensors in FOC algorithm (low side or in line) for small motors. It is obvious if we use inline current sensing, the software implementation becomes more easier. For example INA240 with PWM rejection can be used in inline current sensing. But if this type of inline current sensors are good, why in many servo motor drivers including Texas Instruments EVM board (for example BOOSTXL-DRV8305EVM) , the low side current sensing is used. Is the performance of INA240 equal in low side and inline?
Regards,
Mohammad.
