DRV8307: DRV8307

Part Number:DRV8307

Hello,

I have developed a dual BLDC motor controller PCB. The PCB design basically implements the DRV8307EVM twice on a single PCB excluding the SN74CBT3244CBTCPW switch network. The BLDC motors have single-ended hall sensors wired to HU-, HV-, and HW- of the DRV8307. HU-, HV-. and HW- are wired to 5v pull-up resistors. HU+, HV+, and HW+ are biased at 2v. Both left and right motors turn from a stopped position. The left motor has A LOT of torque. The motor does not stall when applying my hand acting as a braking force. However, the right motor does not have much torques at all. It does not require much of a hand braking force to stall the motor. The motor will also stall without a braking force at about 70% speed. The motor continues to make a commutation noise (sing) after the motor stalls. The fault LED also comes on. I have verified that all three hall sensors pulse the input.

Any help to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
