Part Number:DRV8821
I have seen some terminologies for two different controlling scheme for the stepper motors. Can you please help me on this?
On part DRV8821 page 10, it says that “The DRV8821 contains four H-bridge motor drivers with current-control PWM circuitry.” So it means that it is controlling the current. On the other hand on the datasheet for the motor it say that it can be driven in two different ways: “Constant Current Control” and “ Constant Voltage Control”. My interpretation is that “Constant Voltage Control” is equal to TI’s “Current Control” method and vice versa. Can you please clarify this?
