DRV8871 CMOS logic input Current Limiting resistor

Hi,

Am using DRV8871 to control 12V 1A DC motor. Am wondering if I need to connect Current Limiting resistors on the CMOS Logic Inputs Pins 1 & 2 of DRV8871 to limit the current from Microcontroller (MCU - 3.3V with normal and maximum drive currents 6mA and 20mA respectively) . Or will the internal resistance of DRV8871 limit the current drawn?

Could someone please help.
