Hi,
I have a PCB that uses the DRV10983-Q1 chip. The Motor rotates when VCC and GND are applied. But the RPMs is probably in the 10-15 range instead of the expected 30,000 RPM. Changing the Vcc between 6.2V to 12.3V causes the motor rotation speed to change but the rotation is again in the same range as above. My guess is that the SCL, and SDA pins (i.e. I2C pins for the chip) have to be set using the GUI interface for the chip. Is that correct? Need help or input.
Also after downloading the DRV109xx EVM on my desktop, the tool invokes the user to download LVRTE2014f2std.exe (i.e. Unable to locate the LABVIEW Run-Time Engine executable even though it has been downloaded in the same folder). After downloading the executable it still complains about the same thing. So I am not sure what I am missing.
I watched the video from Innocent Irakoze, and Chris Clearman but have been unable to reach them. If anyone from TI could provide support in this regard that would be extremely helpful.
