In the application I'm running, a mechanical error has occurred: the motor has lost its mechanical coupling with the load momentarily, and tried to couple back to its original position. That action has caused the motor to rebound against the rotating body, which has much more inertia than the motor itself. As a result, the motor stopped running, and when I read the SPI registers, AVDD failure was shown. I assume that the driver could not handle all the kinetic energy of the body, causing a spike that the analog regulator could not handle. Altough this should not happen again, is there a way I can prevent the IC from being killed in this situation?
