In TI's FOC reference projects, there used to be a VoltCalc module that reconstructs three phase voltages by applying bus voltage and three phase duty ratios, then in BOOSTXL-DRV8301 design, the three phase voltages are measured and routed to ADC inputs. Which one is a better approach to FOC algorithm, reconstruction or measurement of phase voltages? What's the difference between the two approaches? Please advise.
