I recently acquired new LAUNCHXL-F28069M + BOOSTXL-DRV8305EVM to prototype motor driver for PMAC motor. I am using motorware v.16 to prototype my drive.
I am following instaspin-foc labs to get familiar with programming 28069M device. While running motor Id algorithm in lab 02c, everything was working fine and I successfully spun motor once, then suddenly BOOSTXL-DRV8305EVM started failing.
As soon as I start motor identification, nFault led turns on. I checked the SPI registers and found error flag FETLB_VGS set to 1. Now this flag is getting set even if I leave motor phase connection wire open circuit.
Any idea what could be wrong and how to troubleshoot this problem.
