Hi,
When using the DRV8305N to drive three N-channel MOSFETs configured for a half-bridge topology, high-side gate drive architecture. The load is a 3 phase motor.
1. Is there any protection for the DRV8305 and gate circuitry if the MOSFETs and IC were to experience reverse voltage from a three-phase motor acting as a generator when the ic is powered completely down and Power source (battery) is disconnected. The Datasheet only refers to the IC and gate protection when the IC is powered.
2. Is there any recommendation for this situation?
3. Would a zener diode placed in the gate signal path protect the IC.
