BOOSTXL-DRV8320H: Operation mode and hall input

We have questions of BOOSTXL-DRV8320H.

We use DRV8320H with 1x PWM mode with hall sensor.

1.

This kit uses MSP430F5529LP and its firmware to drive motor in 1 x PWM sensored software.

Does it use closed loop operation?

2.

Does 1 x PWM sensored software implement advanced angle control method?

2.

If motor has hall outputs like A+/-, B+/- and C+/-, we can use A+, B+, and C+ signal to driver input.

Is my understanding correct?
