DRV8837C: Regulation requirement for VM & VCC, transient voltage & bulk capacitance

Part Number:DRV8837C

Hi,

1. I would like to know how much of regulation is needed for power inputs Vcc & VM.

I am powering these directly through two Schotty diodes in series from a 3xAAA battery. It also has a 20 mA load other than DRV8837C.  So the instantaneous voltage will depend on current drawn (ie mainly when motor is running).  The instantaneous voltage will be within the recommended range (for Vcc & VM) but would vary when motor ON vs OFF state.  Can i know if this is acceptable for VM & VCC?

From my simulation the Vcc would be between 2.7 and 2.86V . VM would be between 3.9 to 3.96V.  I am ok with Vih/Vil depdencency on Vcc

2. Can you also recommend me of a the bulk capacitance in VM power input given my motor peak stall current will be about 250mA

3. Since my system is powered from a battery, there will be transient voltage spikes when inserting the battrery or removing. Can the device withstand Transients?  if no can you recommend a TVS diode circuit for use with DRV8837C

Rgds
