I have a DRV10983-Q1 attached to an I2C bus driven by a Raspberry PI controller. The strange behavior I see is that all read return the value 0xFF00. This to me suggests that the I2C is not really responding and that I am just getting nothing. The device is not a sleep mode device and is not in standby mode. The intent is to run the device under control of the I2C. There are no pulses entering the device on the SPEED pin - it is just low - and the DIR pin is being held low. Are there any external conditions that would cause the device to not respond on I2C (like VCC or VCP too low or something). Interestingly the device is acknowledging its address
