Hello,
I am trying to supply Ultrasonic Transducer with AC (30W) through a DC power equipment. To convert the DC to AC I will try to use the LMD18200:
- The input will be an oscillating signal send to the DIRECTION pin of the LMD18200.
- 5V (DC) to the PWM of the LMD18200 in order to enable the DIRECTION signal always ON.
- 30V (DC) to the Vs of the LMD18200 in order to have an AC signal at the outputs from -30V to +30V.
- One extreme of the transducer to the OUT1 and the other extreme to the OUT2 of the LMD18200.
This is an experiment that I would like to test but I am not sure if it is going to work, or if it is going to be safe to test it.
According to my knowledge, with Vpp of 30V and an amperage of 1A or more, theoretically should work.
- What do you think about it? Will I obtain a kind of AC signal at the output of the LMD18200?
- Do I need more electrical components? Or with the ones that I have explained above will be enough?
Thank you very much in advance,
Asen
