We have several questions on DRV8702-Q1 VGS and VDS monitor would like your help.
1. Customer reported that IC will jump into protection when operating under low temperature. Through on-site test, the issue can be fixed when VDS OCP was disabled. Also, we found that 100ohm gate resistors are in customer's application circuit. By removing the resistors, the issue can also be fixed. So we assuming somehow VDS OCP is triggered. And we wonder how the gate resistors have impact on VDS monitor. Could you please offer some explain on this?
2. VDS OCP is mentioned as monitor VDS when MOSFET turns on. We would like to have more accurate descriptions on the timing when VDS monitor starts to work and when it stops (or may it works always just get ignored when MOSFET turns off?). Please help to clarify what is the timing as "MOSFET turn on".
3. VGS monitor. Regarding pre-driver fault, it says after Tdrive, if VGS remains no change, pre-driver fault will be triggered. So what is the voltage threshold for the monitor to identify "turn on" and "turn off"?
